PM doesn't phone it in, and I liked the concert; however, I feel that his ego got in the way of his songs and my 100% enjoyment of the evening. A talented, musical genius who is truly secure within himself doesn't need to ask for applause; he would know that it is already coming. The guy is pushing 70, plays for almost three hours, sings in the original key, and never phones it in. He's written more iconic songs than anybody, so of course the show is "all about him".
