Two more thoughts:

1) Much of what I've learned in the past few months about tethered spinal cord matches many of your symptoms. Someone with a lot of experience with it should review a spinal MRI, because much of what is in the medical common knowledge is OLD. The symptoms MDs are taught to look for (i.e. fatty patch) are not definitive, nor accurate in many cases. Monica Wehby, at Legacy Emanuel in Portland is a well-known expert here, and is on a mission to help people with this.

2) Have you investigated a grain-free diet, like Paleo? The website http://www.marksdailyapple.com has some really interesting success stories about people who had already gone gluten-free, but still had major unexplainable physical things occurring, many of which seemed autoimmune.. When they eliminated grains, amazing things happened for them.

Just my two cents worth...I'm not a doctor, but I play one on the internet :-)

Dear Jaden,
I'm sorry you feel that way. My main point was that during times of stress we women cut our hair, and we don't always make the best decisions. Thank you for reading my blog. I always appreciate feedback.
